The 10th International Conference on Genomics (ICG-10, www.icg-10.org) will take place on October 22-25, in Shenzhen, China. With this email, we want to inform you on the practical issues associated with registration, program and transportation.

1. Conference Venue

2. Transportation

2.1 From Hong Kong International Airport to the Conference Venue
Limousine services are available at Hong Kong International Airport to travel to Shenzhen ports. Then you can take taxi from Shenzhen ports to the conference venue. There are five ports in Shenzhen, and Huanggang is the nearest to the conference venue.

2.2 From Shenzhen Bao’an Airport/Railway Station to the Conference Venue

Taxi, Metro and Bus services are all available in Shenzhen from the airport/railway station to the conference venue. The conference venue (Futian Shangri-La Hotel, Shenzhen) is about 5 minutes walk from Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center Station. If you take a taxi, please show the driver the Chinese venue address (地址：深圳市福田区益田路4088号福田香格里拉大酒店).

3. Registration

Registration begins at 2:00PM on Wednesday, October 21 at the registration desk on the 2nd Floor of Futian Shangri-La Hotel. Please look for the Attendee Registration table to pick up your name badge and conference materials. If you have not paid your registration fee, please pay for your fee onsite (Cash (RMB)and credit card are both available).
*Your name badge allows your access to ICG-10 sessions, workshops and events. Please bring it with you at all time.

Exhibition hours:
The Exhibition area is located in Grand Ballroom1, 2nd Floor, Futian Shangri-La Hotel, Shenzhen. Opening hours are：
October 22 - 8:00am to 6:00pm
October 23 - 8:00am to 6:00pm
October 24 - 8:00am to 6:00pm
October 25 - 8:00am to 6:00pm

4. Meals

• Lunch will be provided in the Grand Ballroom 1 on October 22 -25.
• The ICG’s 10th Anniversary Banquet with live performance is in the evening of October24, in Grand Ballroom 2&3 of Futian Shangri-La Hotel (2nd floor), starting at 7:00pm.
• Dinner is not available, please take care for yourself.

Meal tickets are placed in your badge. Please bring them to access to the catering area.

6. Special Notice for Science Education and Popularization Workshop

Introduction: The workshop will highlight trends for using new media platforms to share information, especially via social media outlets, which has changed how we communicate and how quickly we can disseminate information to the general public. Many famous popular science writers and media professionals will be presenting. Please notice that this workshop will take place in a difference location.
Time: 8:30 am -6:00 pm, October 22, 2015
Venue: Harbin Institute of Technology Shenzhen Graduate School (HIT Campus of University Town of Shenzhen, Shenzhen, China)
We will arrange transport for the participants interested in attending this workshop. The Shuttle bus will leave at 7:30 am from Futian Shang-La Hotel (Meeting Point: Hotel Lobby) to Harbin Institute of Technology Shenzhen Graduate School.

7. BGI Tours

All the conference delegates, sponsors and exhibitors are all welcome to join scheduled BGI tour. This tour will begin with a visit to the to-be completed China National Genebank to see how it will develop into a Biobank reservoir and a massive data center.Followed by a visit to the world’s largest genomics institute---BGI, to experience the state-of-art research platform, the cutting edge technologies and innovative projects.
The itinerary of BGI tour will be arranged at two time periods, and the shuttle buses will wait outside the venue (Meeting Point: Hotel Lobby).

• Monday, October 26, 8:00 am - 2:00 pm
