Hanoi: North Vietnam’s capital and new industrial centre
Vietnam encourages many local and international textile and garment companies to establish a new production base in Hanoi and North Vietnam. Hanoi and North Vietnam offer lower wages and production costs, as well as more favourable government policies and vacant land than Ho Chi Minh City and South Vietnam.

Strong growth of the textile and garment industry
With the strong growth of the textile & garment industry, Vietnam's garment export target has increased to USD 40-50 billion by 2020 (the previous target was USD 20-25 billion). Vietnam’s government is setting up more and more industrial parks for garment, textile, and garment parts production to meet the increasing demand of orders from overseas.

The response to HANOITEX 2016 has been positive. Although the organizers have already expanded the show by building an additional exhibition hall to accommodate more exhibitors, most of the spaces are already sold / reserved in both the main hall and the temporary hall. Some exhibitors are still waiting for space allocation.
