Hanoi: North Vietnam’s capital and new industrial centre
Hanoi and North Vietnam offer lower wages and production costs, and have more vacant land than Hochiminh City and South Vietnam. With the coming Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) and the FTA agreements signed with many countries, Vietnam encourages many local and international textile and garment plants to establish a new production base in Hanoi and North Vietnam.

Many textile industrial parks to open in Vietnam
Vietnam’s textile and garment exports are expected to bring in USD 30 billion in 2016. In order to meet the “yarn forward” principle of the TPP requirement, various industrial parks for textile and garment parts are currently being set up in a range of cities. They will acquire equipment for production, creating exciting opportunities for international suppliers to sell their products in Vietnam.
