Why Hanoi? The government of Vietnam is encouraging foreign investors to set up factories in North Vietnam near Hanoi, where labor and production costs are lower than South Vietnam and Ho Chi Minh City. Also, the north has a fast land cross-border connection advantage with southern China, providing logistic support.

The Vietnam Textile and Apparel Association (VITAS) has set the industry’s export turnover target in 2019 at US$ 40 billion, a 10.8 percent year-on-year increase from 2018, which was US$ 36 billion, continuing a trend of double-digit year-on-year growth. Vietnam is now the second largest exporter of textiles and garments in the world.
The exhibitor recruitment for the 2019 event is in full swing. Our similar exhibition SaigonTex in Ho Chi Minh City in April 2019 had a record size with a full house. Many late comers were turned down.
