Invitation to exhibit or visit the Vietnam Hanoi Textile & Garment Industry Expo, HanoiTex 2018. Vietnam will soon become a very strong alternative market as a result of the development US – China trade war.
Potential from the US – China trade war – The US has just announced a 25% import tariff on Chinese products. As this may well apply to textile and garment products in the future, international investors are expanding or moving their textile and garment production into Vietnam to diversify their risk. This will increase the demand for textile and garment machinery and facilities in Vietnam.
Vietnam has signed many FTAs - Vietnam has signed numerous free trade agreements (FTAs), including the Comprehensive Progressive Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP) and the EU-Vietnam free trade agreement (EVFTA), which will further stimulate Vietnam’s textile & garment export industry. Consequently, Vietnam will need to import more textile & garment machinery and facilities in Vietnam.
